BROWNSVILLE - A school board meeting that went into the wee hours Wednesday morning concluded with two hirings and one new vacancy. BISD took the interim tag off William Deen, approving him as the Pace head football coach/athletic coordinator. In addition, Mark Guess was named the school district's athletic director. Guess was previously the head football coach/athletic coordinator at Brownsville Veterans Memorial. A new search will begin to fill that position.
