WESLACO - Two more Valley football standouts signed on to give the game the old college try on Tuesday--and one of them on the NCAA Division I level. McAllen Memorial QB Matthew Kaufmann signed to play at Army. Kaufmann told CHANNEL 5 SPORTS he's excited to play on the Division I level and is fully aware that his commitment to the military after his playing days are done will only help him later on in life--that he wants to help people while going into coaching. Meanwhile, Harlingen safety Daniel Ramirez is staying much closer to home, as he signed to play at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
