VAMOS to Awards Scholarships to 50 Valley Students

McALLEN - Valley Alliance of Mentors for Opportunities and Scholarships (VAMOS) will award 50 graduating seniors from various high schools in the Rio Grande Valley scholarships of up to $20,000.

The VAMOS 16th Annual Scholarship Banquet will happen Thursday at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance. The guest speaker will be Dr. Robert S. Nelsen, president of the University of Texas Pan American.
