BROWNSVILLE - Investigators are getting their first few moments with one of the victims of last week's explosion in Brownsville.

Brownsville Police Department spokesperson J.J. Trevino said they spoke with 30-year-old Iviz Machado. She was one of three people burned in the explosion. We're told she only gave investigators basic information.

Jesus Juarez, another victim, was too medicated to talk. Machado and Juarez remain in the burn unit in a San Antonio hospital. The couple's 5-year-old daughter, Andrea, remains in critical but stable condition at a Galveston hospital.

The explosion happened Friday at the family's home on Resaca Vista Drive. A package with multiple explosive devices was left at the family's home. One detonated and injured the family. Police evacuated the area, as they worked to clear the remaining explosives.
The Brownsville Police Department is asking anyone with information on the case to call Brownsville Crime Stoppers at 956-546-TIPS.
