WESLACO - Police said two men walked in to the Food Mart near FM 88 and Mile 10 north of Wesalco and assaulted the clerk. Hidalgo County Sheriff's deputies said the agency is investigating two additional armed robberies in the area but the have not connected their cases with this one. Wesalco police said the suspects are armed and dangerous. They also said the pair made off with and undisclosed amount of cash from the business.
