EL PASO, TEXAS – The memorial in front of the Walmart store in El Paso is growing every day.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS spoke to an employee from a different Walmart about the recent shooting.

Ana Bonilla worked at Walmart for about three years and in that time she says she bonded with her coworkers like family.

She works in Arizona but she was born and raised in the El Paso/Juarez area.

She is visiting the memorial to leave a sign that shows support from her Walmart store.

"Working at Walmart they always try to get you prepared for these things, but it's really a tragedy. You're never prepared for these things. They tell you to watch videos and everything, but you're never prepared for these things," says Bonilla.

Among those visiting El Paso Wednesday is President Trump.

The city hopes the president’s visit will help with their recovery going forward.
