WESLACO - Weslaco police are working to track down a second man wanted in an armed robbery at Wal-Mart.

Weslaco police say the robbers pulled a gun on a Wal-Mart employee. Weslaco police captured the pair on video surveillance. A 21-year-old was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery Tuesday morning.

Security video shows both men walking in and out of the store. The man in the black and white clothing, Luis Yanez, was arrested. Weslaco police are now trying to track down his friend who was wearing a black hoodie and red shorts.

Police say the two stole several shirts from the store. A Wal-Mart employee tried to stop the duo as they walked out. Police say Yanez pulled out a gun and pointed it at the employee.

"They made the right call, which was to let the perpetrators leave the store. We definitely don't want any loss of life or anyone to get injured over some clothing. We are glad that we had witnesses who were able to come forward and help us identify one of the suspects. We are still looking for the second suspect," says J.P. Rodriguez, spokesman with Weslaco Police Department.

There were many witnesses to the crime Saturday afternoon. If you can help solve this crime, call Weslaco Crime Stoppers at 956-968-8477.
