PORT ISABEL - A Port Isabel woman was arrested for allegedly selling cocaine.
Police say 30-year-old Maria Alondra Rodriguez was the subject of a month-long investigation. We're told officers arrested her during a traffic stop on Highway 100 Tuesday. That's after a judge signed a warrant earlier in the day for her arrest.
Port Isabel Police Chief Gualberto "Wally" Gonzalez said Rodriguez was previously arrested and served time in prison.
"She continued on working with narcotics and again she gets busted," he added.
Officers said they seized drug paraphernalia during a search of her home. We're told she'll remain in jail, because she violated her parole.
