DALLAS (AP) At least three people have been slightly hurt in wrecks on an Interstate 30 bridge over a Dallas-area lake during foggy weather.

Emergency personnel early Friday closed much of the I-30 bridge over Lake Ray Hubbard amid the snarled traffic. Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans says three people were transported to hospitals for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Tony Hartzel says multiple vehicles were involved in the accidents, including 18-wheelers. He had no immediate numbers.

Hartzel says about 500 feet of concrete barriers suffered damage. Crews worked to make repairs and reopen the busy highway.

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for the Dallas area through 9 a.m. CST Friday.
