DALLAS (AP) Investigators say three people were slightly hurt when more than a dozen vehicles wrecked on an Interstate 30 bridge over a Dallas-area lake during fog.
Emergency personnel on Friday closed much of the I-30 bridge over Lake Ray Hubbard amid the snarled traffic. Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans says three people were transported to hospitals for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
A dense fog advisory was in effect at the time of the accident before dawn Friday involving several 18-wheelers.
Texas Department of Transportation spokesman Tony Hartzel says about 500 feet of concrete barriers suffered damage. Crews worked to make repairs and reopen the busy highway.
