Erica Proffer
Erica is excited to be in the Rio Grande Valley. She joined KRGV in January 2010.
Erica came to us from her hometown Dothan, Alabama , where she worked for about four years. She was an award-winning anchor, reporter, producer and photojournalist.
Erica graduated college in 2002 from Troy University. She studied Broadcast Journalism and Spanish. She studied in Guadalajara as part of her college curriculum.
In her spare time, Erica loves going to the beach. She enjoys running, kayaking, working out and playing sports. If you see her training for her next race, feel free to stop and say hello.
