Polo Sandoval
Polo is a Rio Grande Valley native and has lived here for most of his life. He graduated from Sharyland High School determined to make broadcast journalism his career.
Polo began his studies at the University of Texas Pan American and South Texas College. He transferred to Texas State University in San Marcos where he majored in electronic media and minored in Spanish. He reported and anchored for the school's student-run newscast, Bobcat Update. Polo interned at KTBC Fox 7 in Austin. There he covered an array of assignments ranging from the race for the governor's seat to features and entertainment.
He loves eating and spending time with friends, family, and his black lab, Max. When there's a minute to spare, Polo likes spending time at the beach or the ranch to get away from the hustle and bustle of the fast-paced newsroom.
