LA JOYA - High school cross country teams were busy today as the Valley's final district meet of the season took place in La Joya this morning.
In 32-4A, the following teams qualified for regional competition:
Girls
1. Mercedes
2. Veterans Memorial
3. Juarez-Lincoln
Boys
1. Mercedes
2. Weslaco East
3. Juarez-Lincoln
These six teams will now move on to regionals next Saturday in San Antonio.
