Family Displaced Following House Fire in San Benito

SAN BENITO – San Benito fire officials said they believe an electrical short is to blame for an overnight house fire that displaced an entire family.

The fire happened at a home located on Retama Street.

The family of six made it out okay.

The fire chief believes it was an electrical fire. The incident remains under investigation.
