Major Wreck on Southbound Frontage Road in Edinburg

EDINBURG – A driver was hospitalized after a morning accident in Edinburg.

Police said he was speeding on the southbound I-69C frontage road, when he lost control just south of Freddy Gonzalez Drive. We’re told the red Mustang rolled over at least once. The driver’s condition isn’t known at this time.

The wreck led to more than 200 power outages for AEP Texas and Magic Valley Coop customers.
