EDINBURG - After winning eight straight games to begin the football season, the PSJA Bears are headed for the playoffs on a two-game losing streak.  The Bears lost to Edinburg North on Thursday 28-10.  With the win, the Cougars snag a playoff spot out of 31-6A.  They'll face San Benito in bi-district.  The PSJA loss also gives Vela the outright district championship regardless of the outcome of Friday's game with Economedes.
