2 in Custody Following Multi-City Chase, 3rd Suspect Flees

EDINBURG – One person is on the run following a car chase in Hidalgo County.

Two people were placed in custody.

Department of Public Safety Lt. Johnny Hernandez says the chase went through several cities and ended on US 281 north of Freddy Gonzalez Drive.

DPS units assisted Hidalgo police.

Authorities said a third suspect fled on foot in the Las Milpas area.

Hernandez says the vehicle the suspects were in was stolen out of Mission.
