Looking for a dynamic and energetic Weekend Sports Anchor. You will help the station's sports direction, plan for the future, anchor the weekend sportscasts, and plan special sports projects.
We are looking for a sports anchor that loves local sports and stays on top of state and national sports, too. Candidate must be able to complement a veteran news crew, be able to shoot, write, edit, write for the web and keep scores updated, report and go live, as needed. You will be producing your own sportscast and will need to help with shooting and editing.
Candidate should have a minimum of six months to one year as a TV Sports Anchor/Reporter. Your link should demonstrate an ability to anchor, report, write, shoot, edit, produce, and report live. We are looking for a sports anchor who can work independently. A college degree in broadcast journalism or related field is preferred; bilingual Spanish a plus. Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
