SOUTH PADRE ISLAND - A straw roof caught fire at about 5 p.m. at Schlitterbahn water park on South Padre Island.
It took fire fighters about an hour to put out the flames. Police say they believe the fire may have been electrical. No one was hurt.

HARLINGEN - Authorities are investigating a fire that broke out on a Homeland Security bus.
It happened this morning while the bus was traveling on Expressway 83 near the Ed Carey Drive exit in Harlingen.
