PENITAS - Border Patrol agents searched a field in Penitas for undocumented immigrants. Authorities told us a chase early this morning ended when a group of people bailed out of the vehicle. They ran into a nearby field.

HIDALGO COUNTY - Border Patrol agents arrested 48 illegal immigrants today at a stash house in San Juan.
The agents found the immigrants in the home's garage, officials said. The raid happened in the 400 block of Lilly Street.
