CAMERON COUNTY - A veterinarian is tending to a whale found beached near Beach Access 6 on South Padre Island.
Officials said a horseback rider spotted the nearly 400-pound, melon-headed whale Monday afternoon. They said the large mammal is in critical condition.
"He looked at its
