BROWNSVILLE - A Gulf Cartel Plaza boss faced a judge Monday in Brownsville and confessed to his role in a drug trafficking operation.
Rafael Cardenas Vela, aka "Junior," "Comandante 900" or "Rolex," is now a convicted felon. He pleaded guilty Monday morning in a drug trafficking case.
