LA JOYA - State troopers and the Guatemalan consulate are providing conflicting statements regarding a shooting that left two immigrants dead.
The shooting happened Thursday near Mile 7 and Jara Chinas Road. A state trooper in a helicopter opened fire on a truck involved in a pursuit.
