$1.8 Million of Meth Hidden in Truck Carrying Tomatoes, Seized at Pharr Bridge
PHARR- $1,800,000 worth of meth was seized by Customs and Border Protection officers at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge.
On Thursday, a commercial truck transporting fresh tomatoes arrived from Mexico with 17 packages of alleged methamphetamine hidden inside a tire.
The drugs weighed a total of 88 pounds.
The case remains under investigation.
