UPDATE (2/15): A 12-year-old who was involved in a deadly rollover accident near Raymondville Monday night, died.

Jeremi Ashley Rosas Bocarando of Mexico died Wednesday night at the hospital.

UPDATE (2/13): The seven victims of a rollover accident near Raymondville are in stable condition. 

DPS says one man, a Mexican national, died at the scene of the crash. 

His identity has not been released.

NEAR RAYMONDVILLE – DPS says some passengers were not wearing seatbelts at the time of a fatal crash along US 77.

The agency says the crash happened Monday around 3 p.m. after a van’s rear tire blew out, causing it to roll over.

Eight people were inside the vehicle, according to DPS Lt. Johnny Hernandez.

He says one person was flown to a Harlingen hospital. The others were taken to area hospitals by ambulance.

Troopers confirmed one man died at the scene.
