HARLINGEN – An investigation into an accident involving a Harlingen CISD school bus is ongoing.

The crash happened on 23rd St. and Treasure Hills Blvd. early Monday morning.  

Investigators said the driver of the school bus hit a vehicle from behind.

According to Harlingen Police Sgt. Larry Moore, one student aboard the bus was taken to the hospital for a minor injury.

The other 37 students, ranging from 13 to 17 years old, weren’t injured.

They were allowed to continue on the same bus to school.
