NEAR REFUGIO – A 10-year-old boy from Rio Grande City was killed in a car crash north of Woodsboro.

He’s been identified as Jonathan Gonzalez-Pena.

Police say the boy was traveling with four others, who were also injured when the right wheel assembly came off and caused the driver to lose control.

The accident is under investigation.
