2 McAllen Botched Robbery Suspects Sentenced to Prison
MCALLEN – Another suspect in the botched robbery at La Plaza Mall is now heading to prison.
Jorge Mejia was sentenced to 15 years in prison Monday; Javier Olvera was also sentenced to 12 years.
Also in court Monday, Abner Posos reversed his not guilty plea and admitted to his role in the crime.
Posos will be sentenced next month.
One other man awaits sentencing. He’ll find out next month as well.
