WESLACO – Border Patrol agents arrested three members of the MS-13 gang last week.

According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the first arrest happened Friday near Hidalgo after records revealed the man was a member of the gang.

A second individual attempting to cross the border illegally with a minor was taken into custody on Saturday.

That same day, Border Patrol agents assigned to Rio Grande City arrested a man from El Salvador whose records also indicated he is a member of the gang.

All three are in custody of CBP.
