MCALLEN - Three students are in custody in connection with a fire at McAllen Memorial High School.

The fire began in the pole vault area on the field of Alfredo "Boxer" Hernandez Stadium.

According to McAllen ISD police, two male students were arrested Monday and another was arrested Tuesday. All three are charged with second-degree felony arson.

If convicted, the students could face up to 20 years in prison as well as a $10,000 fine.
