3 Valley Non-Profits Receive Humanitarian Aid Reimbursements
WESLACO - Humanitarian aid reimbursements for three Rio Grande Valley non-profits are underway.
United way was awarded nearly $2,600, Catholic Charities was awarded over $601,000 and more than $108,000 was awarded to the Salvation Army.
The city of McAllen also applied for reimbursement; we're told applications are still pending.
Mcallen city leaders report spending $160,000 on migrant care during the first six months of the year.
