RIO GRANDE CITY – Eight-Liner businesses are asking the court to reconsider their case that was filed against Starr County.

Their lawsuit was tossed out in April because it failed to comply with a part of the serving process.

The lawsuit challenged the money that was collected from the machines by the county.

The owners are now trying to recover those funds.

Attorneys are hopeful the courts will grant permission to continue the trial.

If they do not receive permission, they can appeal or refile the lawsuit.
