MCALLEN – A major accident is being reported along the Pharr Interchange southbound lanes going towards McAllen and Harlingen. 

According to Precinct 4 Constable J.R. Gaitan, three cars were involved.

The southbound lanes are limited to one lane.

Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area for the next couple of hours.
