Another Arrest Made in Fatal Robbery Attempt near Weslaco

WESLACO – Another arrest has been made in connection with a botched robbery attempt near Weslaco.

One of the suspects was killed and the homeowner remains in custody.

Martin Torres Perez, one of the suspects who forced his way into the home, was arrested Thursday.

The 23-year old is charged with murder.

Authorities are looking for Isidro Juarez.

Investigators say Juarez and the others already in custody tried to steal drugs and money from the homeowner last week.

The homeowner opened fire killing one of the intruders.
