UPDATE (6 A.M.): The man accused of shooting at officers was identified as Gabriel Salinas, 39, of Mission.

Salinas was found dead inside the home with gunshot wounds – it was unclear if the wounds were self-inflicted or caused by law enforcement.

One woman was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.

Authorities are investigating an active shooter situation in Mission, according to Mayor Armando O’Cana.

It happened near Trinity Street. Reportedly officers were shot at. There are no reports of officers down at the moment.

It's a possible domestic disturbance and multiple agencies are on the scene.

Two people have been transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Reportedly the suspect is inside the house and authorities are trying to make contact with the suspect.
