Authorities Working to ID Body Found Buried in Property near San Benito
NEAR SAN BENITO – Cameron County Sheriff’s investigators are working to identify a body found buried in a property near San Benito.
Chief Deputy Gus Reyna tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS they responded to a property off of FM 2520 on the 31000 block.
He says U.S. Border Patrol assisted with cadaver dogs to scout the property overnight until the body was found.
The Texas Rangers are also helping in the investigation.
