Update (7/22): Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office confirms the remains belong to a woman; her identity has not been released.

According to the autopsy report, there were no signs of trauma.

The cause of death is undetermined.

SULLIVAN CITY – Skeletal remains were found in Sullivan City.

The discovery was made by Border Patrol agents just before 6 a.m. Friday.

The remains were found along Military Road, just west of Patricio Perez Road.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.

No other information is being released at this time.
