BROWNSVILLE – The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) announced temporary closures of both on and off ramps along I-69E.

The closure will be in effect starting Thursday at midnight to 6 a.m.

The shutdown will stretch from Highway 100 to University Drive on northbound and southbound lanes.   

Crews will be repairing lighting along the expressway.
