BPUB: Water Valve Replacement Continues, Service Interruption Expected
BROWNSVILLE – The Brownsville Public Utilities Board said they will be shutting off water service for residents.
Crews will continue replacing water valves; this time south of Boca Chica Boulevard. Work will start at the intersections of Boca Chica Boulevard, Barnard Road and Medical Drive at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 till 4 a.m. on Wednesday.
The work area includes Boca Chica Boulevard, Marine Drive, South Coria Street, Toya Street, Resaca Boulevard, Medical Drive and McClelland Boulevard.
BPUB said the service interruption will affect around 200 customers.
