Brownsville Woman Arrested after Dog Found Dead
BROWNSVILLE- An arrest warrant was issued for the owner of a pitbull.
Police say the deceased dog was found hanging from a chain link fence on Wednesday.
After an investigation, officials learned this was not the first time the dog tried jumping the fence.
Detectives determined the 32-year-old owner of the dog failed to provide necessary care and shelter for the dog.
She was arrested Thursday and faces a charge of cruelty to non-livestock animal.
