Cameron Co. Emergency Management Prepared for Potential Crisis
BROWNSVILLE – In Cameron County, officials have taken note at what happened over the weekend at La Plaza Mall in McAllen.
Emergency responders say these incidents can easily turn deadly, which is why they train year round.
Emergency management officials say this incident proves that it’s not if, but when it’ll happen.
That is why they’ve started including entities such as hospitals, daycares and other businesses in their emergency response and active shooter training.
