BROWNSVILLE – More than 208,000 Cameron County taxpayers should be on the lookout for their tax bill this year.

Cameron County Tax Assessor-Collector Tony Yzaguirre said the county expects to collect more than $306 million this year.

Taxes are due by January 31, but there are discounts on your bill if you pay early in October, November or December.
