Cameron Co. Officials Warn about Mosquitoes after Flooding

BROWNSVILLE – Though the rain is slowing down, officials are warning about another problem. 

Cameron County's environmental health administrator says mosquitoes will be around for the next seven to 10 days.

He says the county has been stocking up on chemicals to help kill the mosquitoes.

He adds residents can also purchase treatments over the counter.
