NEAR SANTA ROSA – Residents in Cameron County say their belongings were ruined by the rising flood waters.

They blame dirty ditches for the overflowing water.

One resident says he’s dealt with this situation before when Hurricane Dolly hit in 2008.  

The Cameron County emergency manager says pumps are in place to get water out of the area.
