CAMERON COUNTY-- Judge Eddie Trevino Jr. ordered the opening of beach access points that were previously closed for several days.

Officials closed the beaches because of high tide and undriveable conditions.

The affected areas included access 5 and access 6 north of South Padre Island and Boca Chica beach.
