CBP Arrests 2 in Meth Bust at Hidalgo Bridge
HIDALGO – Nearly 28 pounds of alleged methamphetamine were found concealed inside a car at the Hidalgo International Bridge.
CBP officers referred a gold 2001 Nissan Pathfinder for secondary inspection on Saturday. A K-9 aided in the discovery of 10 packages of meth.
The narcotics’ street value is estimated to be close to $550,000.
The driver, a 42-year-old Mexican citizen, and a 33-year-old U.S. citizen were arrested.
