CBP Officers Seize Over $100K in Cocaine at Hidalgo Port of Entry
HIDALGO – U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested two people attempting to smuggle drugs through the Hidalgo International Bridge over the weekend.
CBP officers seized cocaine valued at $108,460 along with a vehicle.
The driver, a 45-year-old Mexican national, and his passenger were arrested after officials discovered six packages of the drug concealed within the vehicle.
The men were turned over to the custody of Homeland Security agents.
