HIDALGO – More than $3.5 million worth of liquid meth were stopped from making into the U.S.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Hidalgo International Bridge made the bust earlier this week.

The liquid narcotics were hidden within the gas tank of a pickup truck.

CBP said the driver of the truck, a 20-year-old woman, of Houston, was taken into custody.
