INDIAN HILLS – Hidalgo County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a case of some stolen inflatable Christmas decorations in Indian Hills.

Maria Juarez said that after 1:00 a.m. last Thursday, she captured video of a man stealing her inflatable bear, Snoopy and Mickey Mouse from her front yard.

Juarez has young children living in her home – ages one through 14. She said the incident has dampened their Christmas spirit.

“My children were crying, they were sad and it breaks my heart to see them like that. Because he came and stole all our Christmas stuff,” she said.

Juarez said after the theft, her children are scared at night.

She reported the crime to authorities and does hope others will do the same if it happens to them, so the criminals are be caught.
