MCALLEN – The City of McAllen wants the public's input on public transportation improvements.

The city says Metro McAllen is dedicated to providing the best transit service possible.

The public is asked to fill out an online survey on how to improve this.

Rosita Garcia, a Houston resident who regularly visits McAllen, says public transportation is very important.

"Taking a taxi is very expensive. It's very expensive. It would be more expensive if there was no urban transportation," she explains.
